Book review on The Alchemist:
Intro:
You have to understand the writer, you have to conceive every single word that the book has offered.
But soon I came to understand that writing a book review is more challenging than reading and understanding a book itself.
This is the first review, I am writing on a book that I have recently read “ The Alchemist”. It is indeed a book with fascinating works published by Brazil writer "Paulo Coelho" in 1988.
The Alchemist book Summary:
The plot begins with him forging ahead on a walk from the countryside of Spain to the Egyptian pyramids in discovery of a treasure.
The boy is not only a simple shepherd but an ambitious explorer whose primary desire is to travel the world since from nonage.
On the way, he meets different people, encounters different experiences. He comes upon a Gypsy Woman to whom he inquires about his dream.
He faces a man who claims to have been a king. The king inspires him to follow the Omen __ that will pursue his dream to acquire the treasure.
Selling all his sheep, the boy sets on a journey. Throughout the journey, he meets new faces and discovers a lot from them.
He meets the Crystal shop owner, an English man, a helpful camel driver, a beautiful girl of the desert, Fatima, with whom he falls in love, and most importantly, his guider, a man who calls himself the Alchemist.
All the personalities teach him about the mysteries of the world. During all this he undergoes many hurdles_ he gets robbed, he gets stuck in the desert but he learns how to deal with yourself when you have nothing.
In the end, when he reaches the pyramids, he discovers something more important than the treasure, which is his Personal Legend.
My review on the Alchemist book :
The Alchemist is an outstanding book having an Interesting plot. At first, you may find it a little boring but if you can visualize it clearly, you will find it very interesting and helpful.
The choice of the words is flawless and simple to read. The book is fairly short and very easy for beginners. It's full of intuition and philosophy. The main focus is on how to overcome one's fear and admire existence. It can reach across generations and still touch the hearts of the readers.
I appreciate it. The book has inspired me and helped me a lot. I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in discovering their missing pieces.
The story's central theme is to trust in oneself. If your life is not clear and you want to find yourself a personal legend _your destiny, you have to make efforts for it.
Favorite Quotes:
There are a lot of interesting quotes taken from The Alchemist.
One of them is ;
• “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. ”
The other one is ;
“And one has to understand that the braveness is not the absence of fear but rather the strength to keep on going forward despite the fear.”
